Tribute to Leonora Carrington. Instituto Cultural México Israel (ICMI). Mexico
The Instituto Cultural México Israel (ICMI) gave artist Leonora Carrington (1917) the institution’s medal for her contributions to Mexican art and to World culture. During the tribute, held at the cultural center’s headquarters, officials of the Instituto de las Mujeres del Distrito Federal (Inmujeres) accompanied the British-born painter in the inauguration of the exhibition El Dybbuk. María Sarrate Research Grant 2010. Centro de Arte y Naturaleza. Fundación Beulas. Huesca, Spain
With the objective of supporting and promoting research works and contemporary art studies, the Fundación Beulas and the Centro de Arte y Naturaleza (CDAN) announce the María Sarrate Research Grant 2010, centered on the Beulas Collection and contemporary art. This call is open to persons of legal age of any nationality with a degree in Fine Arts, Art History, Liberal Arts, Library Science and Documentation, and/or researchers in these disciplines. The research will last nine months and will receive a purse of 6,000 Euros. The deadline for participation is July 1, 2010.

The first edition of the Pinta London Art Show, will take place from 3-6 June 2010 at the Earls Court Exhibition Centre, London.
